Hemi Cuda Concept.

When i first saw this car it blew me away, I know it is a concept car but I started to write a check for a down payment. This car is amazing looking and will be a contender for the American sports car if it comes out. It is packing a 5.4L V8 with 671hp. This car will be able to get you places quick. My only worries are due to the weight, the car weighs 2822 pounds. If you have that coming around a sharp corner the force on that might be hard to control. Also that is a lot of weight to get moving so i don’t see the the 0-60 competing with the corvette. But they did get the look down it shows resemblance of the old cuda and a newer style look.

Complaints for Toyota?

Any one have a horror story? With the recent news of accelerating problems it has uncovered a whole mess of problems. There have been many recalls over the years from frames rusting out to floor mats! They have been occurring under the table since 2007 and now are in the spot light in 2009 and 2010 models. For me this is just icing on the cake, i grew up in a auto body shop and saw all of the recalls first hand. Toyota dose a good job with the out side body and interior of the cars, but the time and effort of that must of taken away from the inner workings of the car or truck. Maybe Toyota should stop trying to cover up there mistakes with nice upholstery or two-tone paint jobs and put a little more TLC into there cars and trucks so people stop getting hurt.

Shelby Cobra, Fords New Super Car?

Back in the early 1960s a race car driver named Carroll Shelby had an idea to take a light weight european car body and shove a monster american V8. The experiment was a success and it was proven on the race track. The original cars from the 1960s are almost impossible to find and if you do you need a deep pocket to afford one. With all the american companies bringing back their greatest muscle cars like the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger the question is should ford put this concept into production?
This Concept Car is very similar to the earlier 1960s cobras in its light weight body and similar styling but the concept features a V-10 instead of the V-8 in the earlier Cars.

Should they bring back the Camaro Z/28

Ever since the Concept Camaro came out in 2010 with the SS and RS packages there has been talk of when GM was going to bring back the legendary Z/28 package. There was doubt if the car would ever make it to production because of the financial crisis of General Motors the Z/28 package was suppose to follow the release of the camaro in 2011 with the camaro convertible and the car was also going to have more power under the hood featuring a cadillac motor that cranks out 556 horsepower. There is trouble with the release of the new package because its not just added preformance to the already cool camaro but the package gives a face lift to the camaro with modified bumpers and hood.

New Corvette Design

The new corvette design is suppose to be a retro version of the 1963 stingray corvette yet this concept car has no similarities beside the split rear window. This concept design will not see the production line but it is an insight to what GM has in store for the american sports car. The new design is a completely new look for the corvette and we want to know what people think about the radical new design.

Chevy vs Ford

This is an age old battle the has pop up ever since 1911 when Chevrolet was created. Through out the 1920 Chevy needed a line of cars to compete with the Model T from ford. Ever since then it has been a huge debate on who is the king. Ford and Chevy have touched new heights in the automotive world in recent years  in all of the categories cars, trucks, muscle, and in the newer age hybrids. There is videos all over the internet with Chevy trucks pulling Ford trucks, or the Mustang beating out the Corvette in the quarter mile. Or those events take place vise versa.  But there can only be one king, Ford? Chevy? Whats your take? My take is Chevy all the way. They may have come out of the gate later then Ford but they caught up quick.
