Battle for the american sports car: The corvette has had the name of the american sports car since it first rolled off the assembly line in 1953. But with the up rising preformance of the mustang and the new Camaro should the title be changed and given to the mustang or maybe one of the other new pony cars like the challenger or camaro?
The corvette in my opion is way better than the mustang and they are not in the same category of performance. The corvette should still have the title of the american sports car because it is the best preforming american car by far.
NO CAR manufactured in the last twenty years could be considered the greatest American sports car. It’s foolish to suggest otherwise!
ohhh Im going to have to beg to differ jacob for a car to qualify to be the american sports car it has to be made by an american company. General Motors and Ford are now making the best cars in their history. I do have to say there is one thing american cars are missing they don’t accelerate by themselves.
